For the past 9 months, I have been privileged to be part of a leadership academy cohort through Survivor Alliance. As a cohort comprised of both survivor leaders and allies, we recognize a significant knowledge gap on the issue of human trafficking within the Spanish-speaking communities, organizations, and sector overall. As leaders, we are committed to diversifying the training programs that exist as a whole while further raising awareness within the unique communities that we serve and live in.
Through this cohort, I had the opportunity to collaborate with other leadership members in creating a Spanish-language training program with the specific objective of providing the tools and information desperately needed by Spanish-speaking community members and our allies within the sector.

I want to say a special thank you to Survivor Alliance for allowing us the time and space to develop this during our time with them. Please note that Survivor Alliance is not an author or further affiliated with this project. My amazing co-authors for this dynamic training are: Ana Ventura, Brenda Gorosito, Maritza Duran and Sara Martinez.
